Jimmy Fox takes the hot seat in latest edition of “Unscripted and Unprepared”
From producer Jimmy Fox and director Neil Berkeley, the six-part docuseries will follow New Faces showcase hopefuls. The Montreal festival will be the subject of a six-part docuseries for Amazon from producer Jimmy Fox and director Neil Berkeley (Harmontown). Described as "Hard Knocks for standup comedy," the untitled series will follow up-and-coming comedians in New York and Los Angeles as they compete for the New Faces showcase, the segment of the fest that has given way to major comedic talent, including Kevin Hart, Amy Schumer, Kumail Nanjiani and Jimmy Fallon.
Emmy-nominated producer Jimmy Fox (United Shades of America), EVP of Objective Media Group America, has launched his own company, Main Street Media. The new outfit, which will produce both scripted and unscripted fare, will be based in Los Angeles and will sit under the All3Media America banner as part of All3Media’s Objective Media Group, where Fox has spent the last three years running the group’s U.S. operations. Main Event be All3Media America’s 21st production company, joining the likes of Sam Mendes’ Neal Street Productions, Studio Ramsay and Studio Lambert Associates.
